If you wish to assess your feelings and your relationship with your current job, evaluate the various elements covered in the table below on a scale of 0 to 10.
Table for assessing your feelings
If you realize while completing this table that your overall feeling is negative (less than 5/10 for many criteria), do not hesitate to talk about it with those around you: family, friends, HR manager, or possibly a coach.
If you are experiencing difficulties at work, such as stress, conflicts, violence, harassment, or more broadly organizational problems, please know that you can also speak to the trusted person (if one has been designated) or to the Psychosocial Aspects Prevention Advisor of the External Service for Prevention and Protection at Work to which your company is affiliated.Every employer is required to be affiliated with an external service unless they have all the necessary skills in-house.
You can find the list of External Services for Prevention and Protection at Work here.
How to know which service your employer is affiliated with?
This information is mentioned in your work regulations. If you cannot find this information, you can ask your internal Prevention Advisor or contact the regional office of the Wellbeing Control, whose information you can find here.
How can these services help you?
Within the framework of Belgian legislation concerning wellbeing at work, you can contact them free of charge to ask your questions or talk about your work situation. They guarantee you confidentiality, anonymity, and are neutral with regard to your work situation. In addition to listening, welcoming, and providing advice, they will also enable you to initiate certain informal and formal psychosocial procedures, always within the framework of the legislation, in order to improve your professional situation.
