Criteria to consider when choosing training

Before searching for training, it's important to first consider the criteria that are important to you in your selection.

Here are the questions to consider:

Teaching method

Are you looking for in-person training, online training, or a mix of both (now called blended learning)?

Degree/Certificate awarded

Is it important to you to receive a qualification at the end of the training or not?

In the form of a certificate or a degree?

Training organizations

Would you like academic training (university, college), professional training, continuing education, or other (private institution)?

Schedule

What schedule suits you? Regular schedule, meaning weekdays, or off-peak hours, rather in the evening or on weekends?

Duration

Are you looking for short training (from a few hours to 1 month) or long training (several months or years)?

Cost

Are you willing to pay for the training? If yes, how much?

Language

In French or Dutch only, or would training in English suit you?

Field

Obviously, it's easier to find training when you know which field you're looking for. Nevertheless, you could also be inspired by looking at the full variety of existing training options.

Once you have defined all the elements, you will progress much more quickly in your search for training.
